20 Inspirational Light Reactions Of Photosynthesis Diagram
Light Reactions Of Photosynthesis Diagram khanacademy Biology PhotosynthesisIn this article we ll explore the light dependent reactions as they take place during photosynthesis in plants We ll trace how light energy is absorbed by pigment molecules how reaction center pigments pass excited electrons to an electron transport chain and how the energetically downhill flow of electrons leads to synthesis of ATP and NADPH Light Reactions Of Photosynthesis Diagram biotopics uk a2 light dependent reactions htmlThe diagram above based on the Z scheme suggests the amount of energy in each compound and also partly explains their location in the membranes as energy electrons and H are passed between them rather like a pinball game schemeIn photosynthesis the light dependent reactions take place on the thylakoid membranes The inside of the thylakoid membrane is called the lumen and outside the thylakoid membrane is the stroma where the light independent reactions take place Th...
